PROJECT MANAGER

Overview

​

Registration: PMP is preferred, but not required.

Experience: 5 years in a technical field/ 5 years of leadership experience in consulting engineering.

​

Responsibilities

​

  • Utilize department standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery.

  • Establish scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Serve as a single point of contact for customers. 

  • Prepare reports to communicate the status of assigned projects for clients and management. 

  • Manage the process for identifying, scoping, and implementing change. 

  • Manage service agreements and work orders for assigned clients and projects.

  • Ensures project objectives are met and contract terms and conditions are followed.

  • Develop proposals.

  • Create technical design basis reports for front end and feasibility studies.

  • Ensures that the company quality procedures are being followed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conflict resolution.

  • Coordinate with other project managers to determine task prioritization and resource allocation.

Skills​

  • Must be highly organized and proficient with relevant software. (Microsoft Projects, Word, Excel, Microsoft 365)

  • Ability to motivate and lead diverse project teams.

  • Ability to offer solutions during project execution.

  • Ability to clearly communicate project objectives.

  • Ability to analyze cost and schedule data for predicting, understanding, and influencing time and cost outcomes.

  • Possess broad understanding of what is required from all technical disciplines to develop effective project plans. 

  • Ability to effectively lead client review meetings.
